This project was delivered on time, despite extended periods of wet weather and minor flooding of Tarcutta Creek.
At this location Tarcutta Creek is quite deep and required the erection of false work over the water to enable construction of the piers.
The design is spaced girders supporting a cast insitu deck on spill through abutments with precast wing walls. The arrangement is a 18m central span with 14m spans either end.
Foundations are driven 400 square concrete piles, driven to refusal.
On completion of the new bridge we demolished the existing life expired concrete bridge.
