This bridge comprises 3 spans, each 18 metres long, over a relatively steep river valley in the upper reaches of the Manilla River. The underlying foundation is siltstone bedrock.

The 7 metre high piers are precast columns and headstocks anchored into the bedrock.

Abutments are cast in situ walls built on bored piles socketed into bedrock and fitted with precast wing walls.

The deck is cast insitu with Thrie beam guardrails.
